When Jesus was twelve years old He was separated from Joseph and Mary.  They thought He was in the caravan they were traveling in from the Passover in Jerusalem.  They searched and finally found Him three days later back in Jerusalem, in the Temple.  The Bible says that He was hanging out with the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions.

When his parents found him, Mary said to him, “Son, why have you treated us like this? Your father and I have been anxiously searching for you.” Jesus responded, “Don’t you know that I must be about My Father’s business?”

If you are a believer in Jesus Christ, you too should be about The Father’s business.  There should be a desire in you to learn more about Christ and do the things that He did.  In a world of many distractions, it is very easy to be about some other business besides The Father’s.  I encourage you to be deliberate every day for God and if you haven’t accepted forgiveness through Jesus Christ, take care of that business first.
