Becky Niles – Children’s Pastor
Becky Niles grew up, in her words, as an Air Force brat, living all over the United States. She graduated from Westland High School, on Columbus’ west side, in 1988. After graduating from Ball State University with a degree in English she settled in rural Indiana for 12 years. She once again calls Columbus, Ohio, home.
After meeting her husband Rob in college, Becky gave her life to Christ in 1990 at the small church Rob attended in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She entered ministry after the birth of her first child in 1995, as the Young Moms leader at Ligioner Assembly of God. Through this experience, Becky realized that God had called her into children’s ministry.
In 2001, Becky moved to Columbus and began attending Harvest. Soon after joining Harvest she progressed from Daisy Leader, to Missionettes Coordinator and then leader of Midweek Children’s Ministries. In December, 2008, she was commissioned as Children’s Pastor.
Becky has a heart for the children at Harvest and in the surrounding community. It is her desire to see all children growing in a relationship with Jesus Christ. She believes in passionate worship for children to bring them closer to Christ, and that the best way to disciple children is to insure that each child that comes through the ministry leaves with a firm knowledge of the Bible and an understanding of how much Jesus loves them.
Pastor Becky and Rob have been married for 20 years and have three children, Morgan, Dylan and Gavin . They are also the proud owners of several species of lizards, which usually make a guest appearance at Vacation Bible School.
